Kick back and cool off with a summer twist on classic Black Forest chocolate cake, with yummy brownie bites and sweet cherries. Make it fun for the kids by preparing the toppings in separate bowls, then they can decorate the sundaes themselves. See method
Ingredients
- 160g (8 tbsp) cherry conserve
- 900ml tub triple chocolate ice cream
- 400g fresh cherries, 8 kept whole, the rest destoned and halved
- 8 chocolate brownie bites (from a 20-pack)
- 8 tbsp chocolate sauce
- 30g pot triple chocolate curls

Method
- Spoon the cherry conserve into a small, heatproof bowl and microwave for 10-15 secs until runny.
- Divide the ice cream between 8 small bowls or glasses, putting 1 large scoop in each. Scatter with the cherry halves and drizzle each with 1 tbsp warmed cherry conserve.
- Crumble a brownie bite over each, drizzle with 1 tbsp chocolate sauce and top with a sprinkle of chocolate curls. Finish with a whole cherry to serve.
