Upgrade your snack game with this healthy garlic and butter bean dip that's made extra creamy with Greek-style yogurt. Add a little zing of lemon, and serve with your favourite vegetable crudités or crisps for dunking. See method
Ingredients
- 210g tin butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 small garlic clove, roughly chopped
- 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp 0% fat Greek-style yogurt
- 1 carrot, cut into batons
- 1 wholemeal pitta, toasted and sliced
If you don't have these beans, you can use any tinned bean in water

Method
- Blitz the butter beans, garlic, 1 tbsp lemon juice and the yogurt in a blender until smooth.
- Taste and season, adding a splash more lemon juice if needed.
- Serve with the carrot batons and toasted pitta for dipping.
