Ingredients
- 1 Granny Smith apple, peeled, cored and coarsely grated
- 50g Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 spring onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 6 slices wholemeal bread, or about 240g (7 1/2oz)
If you don't have any Cheddar, try using another hard cheese

Method
- Put the apple and cheese in a small mixing bowl. Stir through the spring onion and mayonnaise until combined. Spread over 3 slices of bread, then top with another slice and cut in half.
