If you're after a healthy snack, look no further than this homemade trail mix. It's full of fibre from the dried fruit, nuts and popcorn, and great for storing in jars when you need a nibble of something! See method
Ingredients
- 200g pack unsalted fruit & nut mix
- 250g malt wheats
- 75g salted popcorn
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- pinch of cayenne pepper
- light olive oil spray

Method
- Chop the unsalted fruit & nut mix, then mix with the malt wheats and salted popcorn. Mix the Worcestershire sauce with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika and a pinch of cayenne pepper, if you like. Pour over the dry ingredients and stir well.
- Spray well with light olive oil spray, shake, then tip into an air-fryer (in 2 batches if needed) and bake at 180°C for 8-10 mins, shaking halfway. Or, bake in the oven on a baking tray at gas 6, 200°C, fan 180°C for 10 mins, shaking halfway.
- Leave to cool, then portion into jars or air-tight containers. It will keep in a cool, dark place for up to 1 week.
