- 6 rashers smoked streaky bacon, diced
- 25g butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 250g pack fresh lasagne sheets
- 1 small green cabbage, cored and shredded

Method
- Use scissors to cut the lasagne sheets into roughly 3 x 3cm squares. Bring two large pans of salted water to the boil.
- Meanwhile, cook the bacon in the butter in a large frying pan, set over a medium heat. After about 3 minutes, add the onion and continue to cook gently for 10 minutes more, stirring often, until the onion is soft and golden.
- Plunge the cabbage into one pan of boiling water and cook for 2 minutes. Drain well and add to the frying pan with the bacon and onions.
- Cook the pasta in the other pan of water for about 3 minutes. Drain and stir into the cabbage mixture, seasoning well with salt and pepper.
