Whip up this luxurious truffle mash without having to buy a bottle of truffle oil. Maris Piper potatoes give the best result here – light and fluffy with a floury texture that absorbs the butter and milk easily. Serve with bangers, roasts or a hearty pie. See method
Ingredients
- 1.5kg Maris Piper potatoes
- 75g Tesco Finest butter with truffle oil

If you haven't got any Maris Pipers, try using King Edward potatoes
