Channel all of the flavours of a classic cheeseboard in with these festive Brie canapés. Top oatcakes with creamy Brie, onion chutney, fig slices and a sprinkle of thyme for a winning flavour hit – trust us, these will disappear in no time. See method
Ingredients
- 200g Brie
- 24 oatcakes
- 6 figs
- 2 thyme sprigs, snipped into 24
- 75g red onion chutney
If you don't have red onions, try using white, brown or spring onions

Method
- Slice the Brie into 24 small pieces and put on a serving platter with 24 oatcakes.
- Cut the figs into 4 slices each and add to the platter with thyme sprigs. Put red onion chutney in a bowl.
- To assemble, top each oatcake with a piece of Brie, a dollop of chutney, a fig slice and a little thyme.
