First created in the 1940s in Brussels and still a classic cocktail, the Black Russian is rich and strong with just vodka and coffee liqueur as it's main ingredients. Fill some glasses with ice, pour, and finish with a maraschino cherry on a cocktail stick. See method

- 150ml vodka
- 75ml Tia Maria
- 8 maraschino cherries
- 8 cocktail sticks

Method
- Place a few ice cubes in 4 old-fashioned glasses. Divide the vodka evenly between the 4 glasses.
- Pour the Tia Maria evenly on top of the vodka and stir briefly. Skewer the cherries onto the cocktail sticks.
- Place one in each cocktail and one resting against each glass before serving.
