A boozy, bite-sized Bloody Mary to ease those festive hangovers! Try serving with a traditional prawn cocktail or fig and blue cheese salad for big retro flavours. See method
Ingredients
- 25ml vodka
- 75ml tomato juice
- 15ml lemon juice
- dash of Tabasco
- dash of Free From Worcestershire sauce
- pinch of black pepper
- pinch of salt
- ice cubes
- 1 quartered lemon slice
- 4 cornichons
- 2 halved cherry tomatoes
- chicory leaves or flat-leaf parsley sprigs (optional)

Method
- Pour the vodka, tomato juice and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker. Add the Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce, a pinch of black pepper and salt and ice cubes.
- Shake, then strain into 4 shot glasses.
- Make a garnish with the lemon slices, cornichons and cherry tomatoes and thread 1 or more of these garnishes onto cocktail sticks. Use chicory leaves or flat-leaf parsley sprigs as mini stirrers.
