Ingredients
- 100g Cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp mustard powder
- 150ml evaporated milk
- crudités, endive and bread, to serve
If you don't have any Cheddar, try using another hard cheese

Method
- Grate the Cheddar and tip into a mixing bowl. Stir in the cornflour and mustard powder until the cheese is coated.
- Put the cheese mix in a pan and pour over the evaporated milk. Cook over a low heat for 6-8 mins, stirring regularly, until the sauce becomes thick and glossy. It is important to use a low heat to melt the cheese gently.
- Pour into a serving dish and serve immediately with mini breadsticks, bread slices and crudités.
