Method
With peanut butter, chocolate and dates, this 5-ingredient snack tastes just like your favourite chocolate bar.
- Line a baking tray with parchment. Lay the dates on the tray in rows, with only small gaps in between. Wet your fingers and lightly press down on each date to flatten.
- Put the peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 15 secs until smooth and melted. Drizzle the peanut butter over the dates and use a knife or palette knife to smooth it down and coat them evenly. Sprinkle the chopped almonds over the top.
- Put the dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl, then microwave in 30-sec intervals until fully melted, stirring between intervals. Drizzle the melted chocolate evenly over the dates and peanut butter, then spread to cover. Sprinkle the flaky sea salt over the top.
- Put the tray in the freezer for 30-40 mins, until the chocolate is set. Cut into squares to serve.
