Don't let leftover burger buns from your barbecue go to waste. Pan-fry sweet brioche buns in butter until crisp and golden and serve as a decadent dessert sandwich with your favourite ice cream. Delicious? Yes! See method
Ingredients
- 40g salted butter
- 4 leftover brioche buns, halved
- pinch of sea salt flakes
- 8 small scoops of Tesco Finest ice cream (we used roasted pistachio, Belgian chocolate and Sicilian lemon & limoncello)

Method
- Melt half the butter in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add 4 bun halves and cook for 2 mins each side until toasted and golden brown. Transfer to a board, cut-side up, and sprinkle with a pinch of flaky sea salt. Repeat with the remaining butter and buns.
- Add 2 scoops of ice cream to each bottom bun half, then sandwich with the tops to serve.
