‘Snickers’ quesadilla-style toastie recipe

A twist on a classic savoury quesadilla, this sweet treat uses nutty Snickers bars instead. Fold up with chocolate hazelnut spread, marshmallows and chopped salted peanuts for the ultimate salty-sweet treat. See method
Ingredients
- 2 white tortilla wraps
- 2 Snickers bars, cut into ½cm pieces
- 2 tbsp chocolate hazelnut spread
- 25g roasted salted peanuts, roughly chopped
- 20g mini marshmallows
- vegetable oil, for greasing

Method
- Place a tortilla on a plate and make a cut from one side to the middle point. Arrange half the Snickers pieces on two opposite quarters of the wrap, then spread the empty quarters with the chocolate spread. Scatter half the peanuts and marshmallows over the chocolate spread.
- Fold up the wrap clockwise into quarters, starting with the chocolate spread-coated side closest to the cut. Repeat with the other tortilla.
- Brush a little veg oil over a large frying pan with kitchen paper and warm over a low heat. Place the folded wraps in the pan and cook for 5 minutes on each side, or until the filling has melted and the tortilla is golden. Serve immediately.
Tip: Prepare the quesadillas in advance and wrap in clingfilm until ready to cook.
