Here's a fun and tasty way to get your fruit fix that all ages will love. Shaped like doughnut rings, these crisp apple slices are served with a creamy yogurt dip, with a touch of maple syrup for sweetness and tahini for nuttiness. We've used Pink Lady apples for their tangy-sweet flavour but use whichever apple variety you like. This is a great healthy snack to have ready in the fridge! See method
Ingredients
- 150g 0% fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tbsp tahini
- 1¼ tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 Pink Lady apples
- 1 tsp caster sugar

Method
- Mix the yogurt, maple syrup and tahini until combined. Sprinkle over ¼ tsp ground cinnamon; chill.
- Trim the top and bottom off the apples and slice into 5mm rounds through the core. Remove the core using an apple corer or a knife. Mix the remaining 1 tsp ground cinnamon and the caster sugar in a bowl, then toss in the apple slices. Serve with the dip.
