This iced blend of fresh melon and dry white wine makes the perfect grown-up slushy with a twist for summer parties. See method
Ingredients
- 1 ripe cantaloupe melon, peeled and deseeded, about 1kg (2lb) prepared weight
- 50g (2oz) caster sugar
- 300ml (1/2 pint) Sauvignon Blanc or similar dry white wine
- 1 lime, squeezed
- ¼ tsp salt
If you don't have any limes, try a lemon instead
