- 1kg Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 200g smoked bacon lardons
- 150ml crème fraîche
- 20g Parmesan, grated

Method
- Simmer the sprouts in boiling water for 7 mins or until tender. Drain, then halve.
- Meanwhile, heat the oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Fry the bacon for 5-7 mins until crisp.
- Mix the crème fraîche with the Parmesan and some black pepper. Add the sprouts to the pan. Pour in the crème fraîche; stir to heat.
