Craving something sweet? You only need 10 minutes to make this homemade chocolate sauce, which sets hard as soon as it hits ice cream. Reminiscent of retro ice cream chocolate shells, this recipe is dead-easy to make and totally moreish! See method
Ingredients
- 75g dark chocolate, chopped
- 50g milk chocolate, chopped
- 1 tsp coconut oil
To serve
- ice cream
- 3 tbsp roasted chopped hazelnuts
- 10g dark chocolate, grated

Method
- Melt together the dark chocolate, milk chocolate and coconut oil in a heatproof bowl set over a pan of gently simmering water (make sure the bowl does not touch the water), or in bursts in the microwave. Decant into a jug and leave to cool for 5 mins.
- Pour the sauce over scoops of your favourite ice cream; the sauce should set hard almost instantly. Sprinkle over the hazelnuts and grated chocolate to serve.
