Take your sprouts to the next level by roasting them in honey, chillies and walnuts for a sweet, spicy and earthy crunch. A crumble of tangy blue cheese on top and you've got an epic side dish for Christmas lunch. See method
Ingredients
- 600g Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 75g walnut halves
- 2 rosemary sprigs
- ½ tsp crushed chillies
- 1 tbsp clear honey
- 70g Danish blue cheese

Method
- Preheat the oven to gas 7, 220°C, fan 200°C.
- In a baking tray, toss the sprouts with oil and season. Roast for 20 mins.
- Add the walnut halves, rosemary sprigs, crushed chillies and honey; stir or toss to combine. Roast for 5-6 mins until golden and crispy.
- Tip onto a platter and crumble over the blue cheese to serve.
