Ingredients
- 300ml cloudy apple juice
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 cloves
- 2 star anise
- 300ml (1/2pt) ginger ale

Method
- Pour the apple juice into a large saucepan and add the cinnamon, cloves and star anise. Heat to just under a simmer, then keep it there for 5 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and let the juice to infuse for 5 more minutes, then remove the spices and add in the ginger ale.
- Ladle into cups to serve.
