The prettiest and most refreshing of Caribbean vodka cocktails. The layers of orange-pink grenadine, and golden yellow of the pineapple will transport you to a tropical paradise. See method
Ingredients
- 65ml (2 1/2 fl oz) vodka, chilled
- 1 lime, squeezed
- 200ml (1/3 pint) pineapple juice, chilled
- 50ml (2fl oz) grenadine
- 2 fresh pineapple slices, to garnish
If you don't have any limes, try a lemon instead

Method
- Fill 2 highball glasses with ice cubes. In a cocktail shaker or large, lidded jar, shake the vodka, lime juice and pineapple juice together with a handful of ice cubes. Strain into the highball glasses.
- Slowly add the grenadine and stand for a minute or so while the grenadine settles into a pink layer at the base of each glass. Add a slice of pineapple to each drink before serving.
