- 1 ripe pear
- 2 tsp fennel seeds
- 1 small cinnamon stick

Method
- Core and slice the pear and put into a saucepan, reserving 2 slices.
- Add the fennel seeds, 500ml water and the cinnamon stick.
- Bring to a simmer and simmer gently for 5 mins. Strain into heatproof mugs and garnish with the reserved pear to serve.
