Whisky, vermouth and bitters form the base of this simple but sophisticated cocktail. Served in a martini glass and garnished with a green olive and lemon zest, it's the ultimate elegant party drink. See method
Ingredients
- 50ml whisky
- 25ml dry vermouth
- a few dashes of Angostura Bitters
- pitted green olive
- twist of lemon zest

Method
- Pour the whisky, dry vermouth and a few dashes of Angostura bitters into a cocktail shaker with a few ice cubes. Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously for 1 min.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Thread a pitted green olive onto a cocktail stick and place into the glass.
- Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
